Recently, the Phoenix Location of the Order of Malta put on their Annual Veteran's Picnic with the Franciscan Renewal Center Veterans Group. Knights, Dames, and Chaplains gathered together at "The Casa" for the honor to serve approximately 100 meals to our beloved veterans. Additionally, presentations were given by American Patriot Plates and Veteran Dog Rescue.

Location Leader John Even, KM emceed the event and Brian Bouterie, KM and Buzz Slavin, KM sang the Hymns of each of the military branches of the United States. They were accompanied by Western Association Chaplain Thomas Enneking, OSC on the keyboards! Sandwiches, salads, cake and fun were had by all. The event would not have been possible without the support and help of the Order of Malta Mobile Ministries van.
