A few days before Thanksgiving, twenty-five Orange location members and volunteers partnered with Catholic Charities to distribute 900 turkeys to needy Orange County, California families.  In addition to the turkeys, the families received other food items to cook for their Thanksgiving meals.  The event took place at the Catholic Charities main warehouse in Santa Ana.

The large turnout resulted in parking and traffic issues, but the Orange County sheriffs arrived just in time to direct traffic.

It was no small feat for the volunteers to hand out 900 turkeys during this 5-hour Herculean effort!

However, the holiday spirit prevailed, and all participants remained cheerful throughout the event.

The Orange members were immensely pleased to reach so many families before the Thanksgiving holiday!
