Pasadena, California
On April 9th, St. Philip the Apostle Parish in Pasadena and the Order of Malta organized a special morning Mass for the needs of the hungry and the homeless. After the Mass, the faithful spent three hours assembling 21,000 meals, 2,000 hygiene kits for the homeless, and 140 Easter baskets for the needy.
Over 200 people took part in the morning’s events. There was a smile on every face!
Thanks to Fr. Tony Gomez, Pastor of St. Philip the Apostle Church, Tim Shannon, head of Order of Malta Mobile Ministries, and Chris Romero of The Outreach Program for making this morning possible.
Sponsored by Friends in Faith, the small groups program of St. Philip the Apostle Parish.
