Bishop Michael C. Barber, SJ blessed the newly expanded Order of Malta Clinic of Northern California on Thursday, June 20. The first blessing was October 9, 2008 when Archbishop Vigneron first blessed our Clinic and mission. Over the last 16 years 51,000 patient visits have been provided by our volunteer staff of physicians, nurses and administrators. Over 100 patients, Chancery employees, Clinic volunteers, Knights, Dames, Chaplains of the Order and members of the broader Catholic community attended the blessing and reception.

"The new expansion of the Order of Malta Clinic is outstanding. It's in a perfect location and in doubling the size it flows beautifully from the entrance to the ambulatory rooms and the common areas. It is spacious, bright and the facilities are furnished with state of the art equipment. The Clinic is a primary example of our charism and service to the poor and sick." - Gabriella Papale
