The Order of Malta Los Angeles Region in partnership with the Carmelite Sisters of Santa Teresita in Duarte, organized a Day of Prayer for the Sick on September 14. The day began with a Rosary, followed by Mass celebrated by Fr. Dorian Llywelyn, Chaplain of the Order, Anointing of the Sick, and lunch at Madonna Hall. The beautiful voices of the Carmelite Sisters sang in prayer for all attendees. A special thanks to Rosie Erickson and charity coordinator at Santa Teresita and to the many Lourdes Pilgrims of the White Team – including Malades and caregivers -- who came to the Day of Prayer.
