The Solemnity of St. John the Baptist was celebrated uniquely by the Phoenix Location on Thursday evening June 23rd, 2022. Beginning with Holy Mass at St. Bernadette Parish, celebrated by our Chaplain Fr. Don Kline and Deacon Peter Auriemma, we then were also blessed to have a private tour of this beautiful sanctuary after it's $4,000,000 renovation. The highlights included the mural of American Saints surrounding Our Lady above the altar, including St. John the Baptist & St. Paul ceiling art depicting scenes of the life of Mary, exquisite stained glass of the apostles & the archangels, the 3000 cubic foot pipe organ, and the unique glass floors! Unanimously, the piece de resistance was the gigantic oil depiction of Our Lady of Lourdes with Bernadette at the Grotte de Massabielle! We are excited to announce the American tour of the Relics of St. Bernadette will be arriving in Phoenix at this very parish on July 29th! The evening concluded with a wine reception with light appetizers. St. John the Baptist, pray for us.

"John the Baptist, patron of our Order, is a great example to us. He stood out, got noticed, and proclaimed the faith!" - Fr. Donald Kline
