This was the Order of Malta Clinic of Northern California’s 21st Podiatry Outreach in over two years. During that span of time, members of the Order of Malta Oakland Region have helped serve over 500 patients.  This time around our Members were able to serve 25 patients, as well as provide 12 flu shots for those that wanted one. Members of the Order of Malta help our guests remove their socks and shoes, bath their feet in warm soapy water, pray with our friends, and then give them the dignity of an appointment with a podiatrist. Our friends at Saint Vincent de Paul feel overwhelming loneliness and isolation - we help them if only for a minute.  The Podiatry Outreach is a safe haven, a beautiful moment to extend our faith.

Our next Podiatry Outreach is scheduled for December 2, 2026, and we have eleven outreach clinics scheduled for 2027. The Oakland Region is also collecting roller bags to donate to those in need that visit the Podiatry Outreach.
