The Denver and Colorado Springs areas joined together for a Day of Reflection at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in downtown Denver on October 30, 2021. In the morning, we continued a tradition started in 1906 by the parishioners of Holy Ghost offering sandwiches, fruit and coffee to those hungry. Halloween treats, handwarmers and decks of cards were also offered. The day ended with Eucharistic Adoration, Confession, and Mass with another longstanding tradition of beautiful music in the visually and acoustically exceptional church. Holy Ghost Church is a few blocks from the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception.
