We have the opportunity to participate in another round of building hygiene kits for the homeless, those in shelters and in need.  It is both an urgent need, as well as a real opportunity for service made apparent during the pandemic.  We can do this safely in community or in the privacy of our own home or space (see details further below).

Please join us and your fellow Oakland Location members and volunteers on Saturday, December 12, from 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., in building hygiene kits together, while safely social distancing, at the Parish Hall of Santa Maria in Orinda.  The parish hall is located across from, behind the Church and parking is plentiful.

Or please do consider the service and ministry of building the individual hygiene kits at home.  We can deliver or you can pick-up the components if this would be better for you or your family circumstances. Contact Rick Medeiros, KM (click on name to email) if you are interested or have any questions.  Help is also needed in delivering components and finished kits to our various Location ministries and where needed.

Basic Kits with appropriate items for Men and for Women include:  Mask, Hand Sanitizer, Toothbrush and Toothpaste, Bar Soap, Deodorant, Razor, Lip Balm and Sunscreen.  Items we take for granted, we don't even think about, in that we have ready and easy access to, but so many do not.
