Applications Now Open: July 7 - 14, 2025

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Order of Malta 2025 Summer Teen Pilgrimage to Lourdes, France. The Summer Teen Pilgrimage is a demanding, amazing experience designed for teenagers to experience the full Grace of our Lady through service, spiritual activities, and cultural experiences.

The Pilgrimage will depart the Phoenix, AZ airport on July 7th, 2025 and will return on July 14, 2025.  The trip will be led by Brett and Heather Johnson, who have been on multiple Lourdes Pilgrimages, including one prior Teen Pilgrimage. Our group will consist of approximately 15 high school students entering their Sophomore through Senior years from around the Western United States.  We are blessed to be bringing one Priest and two Religious Sisters with on this Pilgrimage.

The cost of the trip is $3,400 and includes all travel from PHX, lodging, food, uniforms and site-seeing activities.  In order to be considered for the trip, a completed application package must be submitted by February 3rd, 2025.

As part of the application, we would like for you to research the life of St. Bernadette and the Marian apparitions she experienced at Lourdes.  You will submit a 250 word essay reflecting on St. Bernadette and why you feel you are being called to participate in this Pilgrimage.

2025 Summer Teen Pilgrimage Application

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis by the selection committee and zoom interviews will be scheduled.  Invitations to participate in the Pilgrimage will be made in mid February 2025.  To accept the invitation, the successful candidate must submit a deposit of $1,500 by March 1, 2025 and pay the remainder by no later than April 1, 2025.  A limited amount is available for financial aid.
