SUMMARY:2025 Our Lady of Guadalupe Pilgrimage
DESCRIPTION:Dear Knights\, Dames\, Provisionals\, and Chaplains\, \nYou are invited to join the 2025 Western Association Our Lady of Guadalupe Pilgrimage from September 24-28\, 2025. We will travel to Mexico City as Peregrinos de Esperanza (Pilgrims of Hope) on this Jubilee Year to participate in an inspirational journey of faith to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe\, where our loving Mother first appeared to Juan Diego\, a humble farmer\, at Tepeyac Hill in December 1531.  Five encounters between Our Lady and St. Juan Diego\, set the stage for the conversion of millions of indigenous peoples to Cristianity and changed the course of history in the Western Hemisphere.  We will be accompanied by Father Tom Martin\, Order of Malta Chaplain\, who will celebrate daily mass with us at three historic churches of special significance and lead us in personal spiritual reflection. \n2025 Guadalupe Pilgrimage Flyer\n2025 Guadalupe Pilgrimage Itinerary-Preliminary\n\nREGISTRATION:\nThere will be a limited number of 25 openings\, which will be filled on a first come\, first served basis. \nThe emphasis for the pilgrimage this year is on spiritual renewal\, cultural and historical awareness.  As such\, the pilgrimage is limited to participants 18 years of age and older. \nThe elevation of Mexico City is 7\,349 feet.  The pilgrimage will require some walking and boarding and onboarding a bus.  Please disclose any medical issues you may have that affect your mobility and tolerance for high altitude. \n2025 Guadalupe Pilgrimage Registration\nPILGRIMAGE FEE $800* PER PERSON INCLUDES: \n\nGround Transportation to and from all events.\nSpecial presentations and entrance fee to the pyramids\nLunch and/or dinner daily\nDonation to Parroquia de Santa Maria de la Asuncion\nPilgrimage Medal\nPilgrimage fee and travel costs of pilgrimage Chaplain\n\n*not including airfare\, some meals\, or hotel. \n\nACCOMMODATIONS: \nAll pilgrims will be staying together at the Hyatt Hotel in the beautiful Polanco District in Mexico City.  It is mandatory that all pilgrims stay at the Hyatt. \nOur room rate $335 single/$355 double occupancy standard & $475 single/$495 double occupancy Regency Club level per night (plus taxes and VAT)\, which\nincludes breakfast. \nIt is mandatory that all pilgrims stay at the Hyatt.\nAfter receipt of your registration fee\, you will receive information on making your own hotel reservation. \n\nOnline Resources \nGuadalupe Pilgrimage Video\nOur Lady of Guadalupe Documentary\nOur Lady of Guadalupe Basilica Website
