On behalf of the leadership of the Order of Malta, Western Association, it is my pleasure to kick-off preparations for the 2023 Lourdes Pilgrimage. The dates for the Order of Malta Lourdes Pilgrimage are May 2-10, 2023.

The Leadership Team is confident that it will be able to organize and execute a successful Pilgrimage, one that is both healthy and safe based on the lessons learned from the 2021 & 2022 Lourdes Pilgrimages. We will employ and refine the processes, procedures, protocols, and strategies in 2023 that enabled us to successfully execute the 2021 & 2022 Lourdes Pilgrimages.  The experience we gained from executing our health and safety plan during the 2021 & 2022 Pilgrimages will enable the Leadership Team to effectively respond to challenges posed to the health and welfare of our Pilgrims.

2023 Lourdes Pilgrimage Leadership

The base price of the 2023 Lourdes Pilgrimage has been increased to $3,800 for the Air and Land program, which includes charter airfare for the nonstop flight from Los Angeles to Lourdes.  The Land Only option has been increased to $2,900. The exciting news is that once again our charter aircraft is a new Boeing 787 Dream Liner operated by Air Tahiti Nui that offers the latest in amenities to ensure our pilgrims a healthy, safe, and comfortable travel experience.  There will be upgrade opportunities from Economy Class to Business and Premium Classes.

Registration Procedure

 Early registration will begin on October 24, 2022.  Leadership, Provisional Members, and Medical Team Members will be sent the application link prior to general registration. The registration link will be sent out to all Members on November 1, 2022

Individual Registration for the Pilgrimage requires submission of a completed registration package on a first come, first served basis.  A complete registration package includes:

1)         Online registration form

2)         Full payment

3)         Recent personal photo

4)         Current VIRTUS Certificate

5)         Confirmation of COVID Vaccination

SPECIAL NOTE: Although we are planning for a safe and normal pilgrimage, we will follow applicable governmental regulations. If we must cancel the pilgrimage, you will receive a full refund.

Your participation in the pilgrimage will be confirmed when a complete registration package is received. Note that Members must be current with their Yearly Contribution to register.
